Colne Valley Golf Club- Providing golf for everyone.

I have recently started golf, basically to have an activity i can do with my son for years to come that we both enjoy.As a summer holiday treat i said we would try and go around an 18 hole course, for me it was the first time on a 18 hole course and i was nervous,it was my sons second.We have always used a 9 hole at Stowmarket and the driving range.

We were lucky to have a voucher from the Nestle Go Free promotion allowing us a free round.We phoned the club and booked a tee-off time of 11.30am.

On turning up at the pro shop we were met by Warren Sargent the resident PGA Professional who was extremly helpful and reassuring, providing great advise for my son and myself as beginners. He truly supported the club moto of 'Providing Golf For Everyone'.

My son scored a respectful 118 and i scored 166 after doing many awful shots!

The course is set in a great location just outside Earls Colne in Essex and i was very impressed with the whole setup.

I definitly hope to play there again in the near future ! Thankyou very much Colne Valley Golf Club .
